KIDS SEWING BIRTHDAY PARTY!

A Kids Sewing Birthday Party is the perfect way to celebrate!

Suitable for ages approximately 9 and up.

The recommended class size is four students.

Ask Natalie for options if you have a larger group in mind of up  to 12 students.

No experience required! 

This two hour fun filled class can be held at my Seddon Studio or at your metro Melbourne residence for an extra charge and the cost includes venue hire for up to 3.5 hours total. 

EXAMPLE OF SEWING PROGRAM: 

Prerequisites: Class is suitable for  four beginner students with little or no sewing experience. 

Inclusions: 

Two hour sewing lesson with all machines and materials supplied. 

Students will create their own thread artwork and make a fabric coaster that they can use themselves or give as a gift. 

They will each receive a special Sewing Party Favours pack with some essential tools, including a Mystery Tool to use during their lesson. The birthday child gets a special pack with some extras! 

Skills learned: 

Sewing safety 

How a sewing machine works (basics)

How to thread a machine 

Forward and Reverse Stitching 

Pivoting at Corners

Using my favourite Mystery Tool to turn corners! 

NOTE: Cold bottled water will be supplied at my studio. However no other food or drinks are part of this party package. But you might like to check out Pinterest for lots of amazing ideas for food decorating at a sewing themed party! 

You will be able to bring finger food and cake to serve up after the lesson.
