Custom Sewing Day for three - Sarah and family

Creative Sewing in the Summer Holidays! 

Create new projects with Natalie in a creative and inclusive environment. 

Class will run from  9 am to 3.30 pm on Friday January 24, 2025 at the Dusty Disco Ball studio upstairs at 84B Charles St Seddon.

This class will be a custom sewing day for the three of you to create your own textile based artwork using a range of sewing and textile techniques such as appliqué, hand and machine stitching. 

As discussed, please bring along three blank canvases to use as the backing for your artworks. 

Scrap fabrics, wool, thread and other materials will be supplied for creating the artworks.

However you might like keep an eye out for fabric scraps, textiles or other materials that you think would be fun to add and bring them along on the day. 

Prerequisites: Class is suitable for beginner students with little or no sewing experience. 

What to bring: Specific items are listed as part of the details above.

Also, You may bring along your own sewing machine to learn on, or borrow one of my vintage sewing machines for the day. You may also like to bring basic sewing supplies (scissors etc) if you have them, labelled if possible.

Students can also bring along a snack and a water bottle for a mid morning break. 

There will also be a lunch break when we can walk up to the park, so you can also bring along packed lunches to take with us.
